With more than 25 years in the industry, I have extensive experience spanning the Public, Social, and Welfare sectors. I have successfully handled both contract and permanent recruitment, along with executive search assignments. Additionally, I've overseen teams tasked with fulfilling highly specialized recruitment mandates and managing multi-million-dollar accounts.
I know what good looks like in a recruitment process. I also know what bad looks like and how it can affect applicants’ morale and harm organisations trying to attract the best talent in a competitive market.
I understand the candidate journey from sourcing through to placement and final onboarding. I have also seen firsthand the challenges faced by organisations in searching for and attracting talent (as well as some excellent strategies that have been implemented that has put them on the front foot!)
My takeaway from the last 25 years is that recruitment should not be a transaction but a partnership. Shoddy recruitment practices such as ghosting, not returning calls or taking shortcuts in a process are not acceptable. This is why I formed Enable Talent Group, to move away from the one size fits all model that you may have experienced previously.
