Philanthropic Leads

Philanthropic and fundraising activities are essential for organisations to raise the financial resources needed to fulfill their mission and make a positive impact in their communities. These efforts require strategic planning, relationship-building skills, effective communication, and a commitment to stewardship and accountability.
Typically they are responsible for:

Corporate Partnerships

Philanthropic leads seek partnerships with corporations for sponsorships, cause related marketing campaigns, employee engagement programs and other mutually beneficial initiatives.

Donor Cultivation

Philanthropic leads engage in activities to identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors including individuals, corporations, foundations and other funding sources. They may also work closely with Grant Specialists (or manage grant applications themselves) to secure funding for specific projects.

Major Gifts and
Legacy Giving

Leads may focus on soliciting major gifts from HNW individuals or organisations to support organisational programs or initiatives. Similarly they may also encourage supporters to include organisations ion their estate plans.
